Angela's review on the interesting literature surrounding the Winstein Rearrangement was just accepted! Way to go Angela! Writing reviews is a LOT of hard work, but it was definitely worth the effort.

En-Chih's many long hours of working on an enantioselective click reaction have finally paid off, because his paper was just accepted to JACS!
Way to go En-Chih! We're sure this is the first of many!

We got a brand new supercritical fluid chromatography system! It has a mass spec as well (electrospray ionization) so we could get enantiomeric ratios on crude material. How cool! Hopefully this will speed up research!
Welcome to Juliana, our new post-doc! She completed her graduate work with Prof. Matt Cook at Queen's University in Belfast, then worked for Prof. Garret Moraski at the University of Montana in Bozeman. We're excited to have a new face in the lab!
Our grant application titled "Attaining Selectivity for the Inhibition of Bromodomains" was funded by the American Cancer Societies Institutional Research Grant program! The grant is for $30,000 and it will focus on research optimizing the synthesis, potency, and selectivity of a compound discovered in the Pomerantz lab. Keep up the good work, Angela!
